“Ithink he knows that.” —CBC News’s Amanda Lang on Paul Krugman, responding to television co-host Kevin O’Leary’s suggestion that the global economy is more integrated, and therefore more resilient, today than in the past. O’Leary was criticizing Krugman’s bearish economic outlook for the U.S. domestic economy. Krugman received the 2008 Nobel Prize in Economics for his work in international trade.
