Drug bust leads to man’s fatal 3-story plunge
Andrew Garib, METRO New York PDF Soundview. A drug raid turned deadly yesterday when three alleged conspirators tried to escape a drug bust by leaping out a ninth-floor window.
One man died when he landed on a sixth-floor landing of the Bronx building, and two women were hurt, Drug Enforcement Agency officials said. The women were transported to Jacobi Hospital, where they were in stable condition last night, a law enforcement source said.
Thirteen people were arrested after the search warrant was executed at around 3 p.m. in apartment 9G of 2OO7 Story Ave., not including the dead man. His identity was not released by authorities.
