Ontario-themed Fear Mongering

Yet another scare tactic from the American Right, profiled in The Toronto Star, regarding “socialized” health care, this one from the facts-impaired (and thankfully defunct) Giuliani campaign. Let’s get the argument straight: They’d rather have millions not get any care than some having to wait for it?

And what kind of care do they get now? Americans already ration their health care. In their system, almost a hundred million people get what in Canada would be considered sub-standard care in addition to the almost 50 million who go without entirely.
